Courses range from CBT and Direct Access to post test, refreshers and those coming back to biking. We also offer the Enhanced Rider Scheme and advanced rider courses.
Helping you get the best from you and your bike is Paul Dickinson. Paul is an experienced riding coach with 11 years full time experience at all levels of riding with the required qualifications to boot.

Direct Access (DAS)
We have a very high pass rate for modules 1 & 2 of the practical motorcycle test. And yes it does take a bit longer for people to acquire the skills than the "old days" but you will be able to do it.

Hazard Avoidance Test Videos
The video is supplied by In-Gear with actual students, neither of whom had ever ridden prior to signing up for their CBT and Direct Access courses.
Once CBT was completed, the students were taught the skills to ride the elements of the Direct Access Module 1 test including the Hazard Avoidance Exercise, sometimes called the Swerve test. They had a couple of extra days each on big bikes including some road riding.
They are now ready for their Direct Access Module 1 tests. The clips show the hazard avoidance being ridden at the required standard to pass. The layout of the exercise matches exactly the course at the test centre.
Neither student had ever ridden a bike before. We hope this helps new riders' confidence and gives an understanding of what is required to pass.
Advanced Rider Courses
The Art of Riding course is a totally innovative course which incorporates existing methods of riding, but carried out in full, it hands over complete control of the machine and the road to its rider.
The course itself starts with a helpful and friendly assessment of the riders skills and the the coaching thereafter is pitched at the level of riders stage of development.
