The Avon Storm ST was praised back in 2009 for its all round durability so when Avon announced the all new Avon Storm 2 Ultra it certainly had alot to live up to.

The all new tyre features uses Avon's multi compound formula.  The centre compound is claimed to be more durable than before, while the shoulders compound is also new for more grip when the bike is leant over.  

RiDE Magazine devised an extensive test involving a mix of bikes and riders and the result was all round positive,
