The heart of this flagship bike is a water-cooled, in-line, four-cylinder DOHC quad-valve engine with electronic fuel-injection and computer controlled digital transistorised ignition that delivers 121kW at 9000rpm. This, plus 124Nm of torque at 7250rpm and a total weight of the machine of only 223kg, translates into mind-blowing performance right up through its six-speed gearbox to a maximum speed beyond 300km/h.
