No Shortcuts - We're Regulated.
Thunder Road is authorised and regulated by the
Financial Services Authority (FSA). This means that we are allowed to advise on and sell a range of insurance products and are required to make sure they are completely suitable for each customer and that customers are treated fairly. The regulations and the reporting are pretty stringent, but we support them because we believe it cuts out rogue traders.
Ride a new Motorycle with a PCP
How does this sound, a new motorcyle every 2 or 3 years? Well with a PCP (Personal Contract Purchase) through Black Horse Finance it can be possible. Keith in Bridgend or Richard in Cwmbran can show you in detail how a PCP can be suited to you becasue everyone's different.
How does a PCP work?
After you've chosen your new motorcycle our finance managers will discuss with you the following points:
1) A repayment period of 2 or 3 years, it's entirely up to you!
2) Maximum anual mileage - 6000 miles each year.
3) There is a required minimum deposit of 5% of the road price of the motorcycle.
4) Our managers will advise you on the Guaranteed Future Value of the bike (GFV).
What options do I have after the 2 or 3 years after purchase?
1) Simply exchange your existing bike for a brand new one (subject to outstanding finance).
2) Or, keep the bike and settle the outstanding finance.
3) Return the bike to Thunder Road.
Guaranteed Future Value (GVF)
It's difficult to predict what your bike will be worth in two or three years but with a PCP you will know what to expect and Black horse Finance guarantees this sum at the end of the agreement.
