It's that time of year again and we're running a bus trip from Thunder Road in Bridgend and Cwmbran to the NEC in Birmingham for the 2011 Bike Show

All of the latest bikes and kit will be there and it's a fab day out for any biker.  Price includes bus fare and entry into the show.

Adult: £31
Senior Citizens: £25
Children (6-16 years old): £21
Children (under 6 years old): £15*
*entry into the show is free for children under 6, the charge is for a seat on the bus.

To book your tickets you can either pay over the phone or in store.  

NB. Refunds are not available and please make arrangements to be dropped off at the store as there will be no car parking spaces available at both stores.  

Join us for a ride out that will take you to the Poole Bike Night in Dorset.

Tuesday 21st of June

The ride out will be leaving Thunder Road on Tuesday the 21st of June The Poole Bike Night is a weekly event that really pulls the crowds in.  

There is around 5,000 bikers that turn up.  
Expect to meet loads of new people in the beautifully scenic sea front in Poole.

Details
Leaving Thunder Road in Bridgend at 2.15pm on Tuesday the 21st of June, heading to the Cwmbran store and leaving there for 3.00pm.  
Route
M4 to junc 18 (Bath/Warminster).  A36 via toll bridge at Bathampton.  A350 to Shaftsbury then Poole.  We will be using the "drop off system" for this ride.     

There are Premier Inn's near the destination that are reasonably priced for those looking to spend the night there. The price is reasonable and if anyone would like to book a room the number to contact is: 0871 527 8892

For those that stay over night there will be a stop at the Sammy Miller Museum around 10.00am on the Wednesday.  Return journey will be similar to the outbound journey.  

*Those who decide to book a hotel are to do so at their own accord.

Show your support for everything 2 wheels by riding to work on the 20th June.  This is an internationally recognised day for all motorcyclists from all different backgrounds to show their enthusiasm.

We all know how much money you can save commuting on a bike and this internationally recognised day is a great way to demonstrate the enjoyment of being a biker.

Get down to Thunder Road in Bridgend for the launch of the brand new and widely anticipated GSX-R600 and 750.  We have food on updstairs in the cafe and there will be an appearance by former WSB rider John Reynolds.

This is the 31st Carole Nash Classic Motorcycle Show and it has become a big event that caters for all sorts of motorcycles.  The rideout has been planned for Sunday the 20th February and the show is being held at the Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet.

It's been a couple of years since we've held an open day at Thunder Road Bridgend so this August we're planning one and we can confirm that Leon Haslam will be here!

**Ride out to Builth Wells**

Join us for what will be a great ride out this May bank holiday Monday to celebrate the first year of Thunder Road Cwmbran being open for business.    

Sunday March 7th

Get the bike out from under the cover and come and join us this Sunday for a great day out!    

The Café at Thunder Road in Bridgend will be open from 9.30am for coffees, teas, bacon rolls, etc and the opportunity to peruse the route.   

For those of you coming from the East we have a party meeting at the Cwmbran shop from 9am – leaving for Bridgend no later than 9:15.   

We aim to set off from Bridgend at 10.30 heading to the Hurst Hotel in Laugharne, Camarthenshire, where we’ll stop for soup and a roll or a bit of curry and aim to return back to Bridgend by about 4pm.   

There’ll be plenty of copies of the full directions / itinerary / contact details available for everyone at the reception desk in Bridgend.  

So there should be no worries about getting lost if the group get’s split.   Feel free to invite along anyone you know with a bike. The Rideout is open to everyone but there is some motorway riding so unfortunately it’s not suitable for learners.

Get down to Thunder Road Motorcycles for valentines weekend and see the unveiling of the brand new VFR1200F and the radically styled Honda Fury.

The all new VFR1200 is without a doubt the most anticipated bike of 2010 and the all new Fury certainly breaks the mould of Honda custom bikes.  

Keep the 19th of September free in your diaries and come along to Thunder Road in Cwmbran, Newport.  If you've been to one of our previous open days you'll know it's worth the trip!

A great opportunity to get out on your bike out this summer, We have a ride out planned for Sunday July 12th to Ross on Wye.  There will be more info to follow but for now keep this date free in your diary, don't forget tell your mates as well!  We shall be leaving the store in Bridgend but we aim to do a meet at the Cwmbran store also. Watch this space!

Launch Week 13/06/09 - 21/06/09

What a day! Over 90 bikers braved the elements on such a cold, but dry day.  Our own Gavin Abbot & David Mobberley joined the group to Saundersfoot.

Were you there?  If not then you missed out on a  great day out.  There's some exciting stuff to look forward to, like the all new GSX-R1000K9, CBF125 and Suzuki Gladius.
