Coming from the M4:
Leave the M4 at Junction 26 (if you're coming from the east it's just after the Brynglas tunnels and if you're coming from the west it's just before). As you leave the motorway (coming from the west) take the first exit on the roundabout sign posted A4051 (if you're coming from the east you need to take the third exit on the roundabout).

Once on the A4051 keep to the middle lane as you pass through several sets of traffic lights. After roughly 2 miles you'll come to another roundabout, take the first exit (sign posted A4051) towards Llantarnam. Once on this road continue for roughly a mile then you'll come to a third roundabout where you need to go right (third exit) then the immediate left then left again. From here you should be on a nice straight bit of road with a Thunder Road sign visible.
