Find Thunder Road Motorcycles
In Words
Coming from the East: Leave the M4 at Junction 35. At the end of the slip road take the left filter lane, follow the dual carriageway for about half a mile to a roundabout, straight over and about another mile to the next roundabout, a big one, take the 5th exit (the last one before you double back towards the M4).
Follow the road for about 200 yards and take the left turn immediately after the Railway Bridge. Following this road for about a mile, straight over the mini roundabout, after another half mile you will see a Texaco petrol station on your left, we are directly opposite this, next door to the Audi showroom.
Look for the Suzuki and Honda pole signs on your right in front of the large, modern glass fronted building with motorcycles in it. About half way down the building you’ll notice some steps leading to a door. This is where you need to head if you want to come in, be a shame not to really.
Coming from the West: Leave the M4 at Junction 36. Up the slip road and turn right (fourth exit) at the first roundabout. Straight over the next roundabout (first exit), past Sainsbury's on your right and straight over the next (first exit) then left (first exit) at the next roundabout.
That's four roundabouts in about 400 yards. If you've got it right you'll be going down hill on a right curving dual carriageway sporting two well warn knee sliders.
Straight over (second exit) the next roundabout and straight over (second exit) the next. When you reach the lights get in the left lane and take the left turn immediately after the first set of lights. Up the hill through the lights to a set of lights at the brow of the hill. Straight on and down the other side of the hill.
Take the left hand turn immediately after the Audi garage on your left hand side, between the Honda and Suzuki pole signs. We're in the big building with the motorcycles in the window and a sign that says Thunder Road above a double glass door, that acts as an entrance to the building. Head on in (once you’ve parked, of course).
If you are travelling from England you will need to follow the Coming from the East directions.
